I would like to connect with more people that make stuff. Software, art, gadgets, blankets, music, it doesn’t matter. Please recommend RSS feeds, Twitter, Mastodon, Flickr, YouTube, anything.

@cdevroe Rek and Devine are Hundred Rabbits – a small artist collective living on a sailboat, primarily off-grid. Their output is so diverse and always a joy to indulge in. Books, games, software tools, recipes, guides on how to live off-grid, retro computing, and much more.

They also run webring.xxiivv.com, where you will find a bunch of humans that make stuff.

This webring is an attempt to inspire artists & developers to build their websites and share traffic amongst each other. The ring welcomes hand-crafted wikis and portfolios.

@cdevroe I am a fan of Pomplamoose and Scary Pockets, two bands that share a common member, Jack Conte, CEO of Patreon. I love their videos because they revel in making music the way we each imagine we could in our heads. But they do it with rotating casts of professional musicians, leaping from idea to song, with video production that makes you feel like you are there. Big stage shows leave me cold. Watching these bands mess around with whatever sparks joy that week makes me happy.

This article is a good intro to Scary Pockets.
