@richardleis Likewise! It was not a big deal here and I may even have been the only person to volunteer to grow them (summer science homework was not a big draw ;-) even for a space-related project). I have vivid memories of starting the seeds and dutifully recording observations on the forms as they grew, wondering what might happen, but I have no recollection what happened beyond seedling stage—I presume we planted them in the garden and then ate them, but I really can’t recall.
Actually…I just had a flash of collecting seeds from the fruit on wax paper…annnnnd, it turns out I still have seeds from the third and fourth generations running around in my old desk! Updated the original post with a photo. // @Miraz @amit
