I just checked, and my current total is 700. I’ll have to go some to catch you up.

@colinwalker Cheers. But I see that my second reply has become a post on my site (number 701). Which is a bug in Micro.blog. @manton, could you take a look at this, please?

@devilgate I haven't seen that before. Did you use the Reply button in the iOS app? Is it possible you tapped the new post button instead, maybe in the conversation view?

@manton Yes, replying on iOS. I'm pretty sure I did that. I feel that It's happened before with my setup, but the last time I think I did make a new post and start with an @-mention. This time, definitely replying.

@manton I do that constantly because I have been trained that clicking “post” in a conversation posts a reply, not a new post. It feels like a bug to me but I know it technically isn’t.

@devilgate I'll look at changing the post button when in conversation view. Probably should be a reply icon or just hidden. (If you ever want to double-check before posting, it always puts your web site hostname at the bottom if it's going to your site.)

@sirshannon Yeah, I can see how this is confusing. It's working as designed but I think could be improved to avoid the problem.

@manton OK, that sounds promising on the assumption that it was user error. Which I'll admit is possible, but it has happened several times and I don't think I've always messed up. But thanks for the tip about the site URL. I'll watch out for that.
