I wonder… I am starting to like the remind me feature in slack could micro.blog timeline do something similar, I don’t know maybe that would be hellish … or I just want to fix my leaky memory and too many channels of conversations across many platforms @manton 🤷‍♂️

@adamprocter I use Bookmarks as a read-later feature of the timelines. If I need a reminder, I'll use the relevant app (Due, Reminders, whatever fits). I understand a built-in reminder feature would appear at first to be a slick solution but I think it's important for Micro.blog updates to be concentrated around the core utility of the platform, whilst the many apps for reminders can provide the best utility for remembering such things.

@simonwoods fair play, good point. Hmm I have things and MS to do for that “lifting” I should consider my workflows in that regard in fact....

@adamprocter I do like the idea of Bookmarks and Replies getting better over time; I'm not sure they are the kind of platform-based feature that could ever be considered "complete".

Or maybe if there were plug-in type options for third-party based reminders... hmmm.

@simonwoods @adamprocter I’ve been doing the same with bookmarks, and apart from the rest of the conversation not being viewable after a certain length of time it’s worked just fine for me.
