@PhoneBoy You certainly started at the top with Barcelona at the Nou Camp! Most other matches and venues will be downhill from there!

@PhoneBoy Oh, I'm jealous! Camp Nou is beautiful.

@PhoneBoy It is special. Stadiums are, at least for soccer, this weird example of how we express ourselves in all kinds of ways; even seemingly less impressive stadiums have quirks and other kinds of details that shed light on just how strange (and wonderful) our capacity for imagination can be.

@PhoneBoy Is there underground parking? I think modern stadia are approaching that a lot more, at least.

@PhoneBoy My partner visited Barcelona and said the same thing. There's also a culture of eating late, right?

@PhoneBoy @simonmumbles from the one time I was at the Camp Nou it is well served by public transport; by the Tramway (there’s a station a few 100m from the stadium) by Barcelona’s Metro (They were about to build a station under the stands) and by Bus. Cars/parking not needed.

@dgold How can you tailgate without a car?

@jeremycherfas I had to look up what that meant! OMFG. The lack of cultural/societal engagement implicit in that being a real thing. I guess that's what happens when you sacrifice your entire society at the altar of the Internal Combustion Engine.
