Cicada Killer – July 2019
For the last three years I’ve hiked 3 miles to the nesting grounds of these giant wasps. Amazing insects. (Listen to audio from 2017)
@cdevroe I had never even heard of these guys until sunday. I was in North Olmstead, and they were EVERYWHERE. I was really scared, and once I heard the name “killer”.. it was all over.
@sergio\_101 They aren't agressive. Just don't handle them roughly or step on them and you should be good. Also, males won't even sting at all.
