The fountain. Why do I like this photo? I love it and think it is a good street photography example because I see movements and joyful people when I look at the image. It isn’t perfectly framed which it seems this is something that is more openly permitted. Also, the presence of birds complements humans. Plus, the water movement in the fountain adds to the dynamism of the scene. Fountains are focus points in cities capturing our attention and can be a great place for street photography. It was for me, at this moment, for sure. Please, share your thoughts about this image.

@numericcitizen What I really love about your shot is that you managed to capture a lightness and joy that isn’t typically associated with black and white photography. Black and white photography tends to lend itself towards a more somber feel. Really well done!

@numericcitizen Yeah, I feel that way too. I struggle with a little balance between truly believing privacy is important but also, they’re in public. More often than not, privacy wins out for me. 😀
