The geek’s dilemma. Do I rebuild my now broken raspberry pi setup (thanks lightning strike!), and maintain a small low power server doing what I need it to? OR, do I just get the services my raspberry pi runs going using Docker on my Mac, which is on most of the time anyway?

@yorrike FWIW I recently decided to move away from running some services like Plex using Docker on my Synology NAS and move to using Pi for these types of services. I don’t have a good rationale though avoiding single point of failure was a factor. Also my Synology is over 5 years old now and I am contemplating what I would do to replace it if it fails.

@ronguest It’s a constant struggle. No network setup is ever finished.

@rom I would if they were available. Supply is extremely tight the world over, and I don’t want to pay over $100 for a new Zero W.
