Little screenshot of something new we’re working on. I’ll have a longer blog post about it later this month.

@manton Can we take a guess at what you mean by subscribers? Do we get a special prize if we do? 🙃
@pratik Ha! Feel free to take a guess but I wasn't planning on making a contest out of it. Details to follow soon. 🙂
@manton my guess is that if you’re not planning on the Substack route then it’s a more dedicated feed reader kinda experience.
@manton hrm, I guess my finally writing about "Why Newsletters"yesterday and talking about monetization and pointing at Ghost was timely...
@jsonbecker I probably shouldn't have teased something without any details... To be clear, we are not going to compete with Substack or Ghost. Paid newsletters would distract too much from our main goals with blogging. Free emails for people who don't use RSS is more interesting to me right now. (I liked your post!)
@manton I was goading somewhat. My guess was what you're doing, which was also a topic of that post, helping to distribute posts. Really, it's just a different, open crossposting method! But I can't say that I don't hope that one day MB might dip its toes into content monetization of some form. Seems like thr hurdle there is requriing a support team.
@manton Very cool! Any thoughts already on digest options? (Weekly, monthly, top posts?) I want folks to stay in touch with me, but I’m not important enough for individual emails, heh.
@robo There will be an option similar to that... Trying to keep it as simple as possible while still working for different types of blogs.
@manton Love it. That balance sounds tricky but worthwhile. Thanks for building the Switzerland of social media. 🤓
@manton Listening to Core Intuition this week brought a thought to mind-- my "reverse chronological by day, chronological within day" sorting might be a very good fit for weekly digest emails.
