I just bought the complete DVD set of the 1960’s Roger Moore series “The Saint”. I waited for years. The previous US set by A&E had all the color episodes but only some of the b&w episodes so was incomplete. I’m told this new set has all the episodes.

@bradenslen I watched those reruns religiously aa a small child. I finally watched the Val Kilmer film a few months ago for an episode of The Incomparable entitled Money in His Pants. My crush on Roger Moore is intact. 😏

@jean Same here with the reruns. I was warned off the Val Kilmer film and I'm content to stay away.

@bradenslen @jean There's also a old-time radio show with Vincent Price as the Saint. It's the same vibe, but, at times, even more hilarious than the 60s tv series.

@renevanbelzen @jean I really enjoy OTR. I agree, The Saint radio shows are great. I love Price and you can tell he's having fun. Thanks for posting that link.

@bradenslen @renevanbelzen That sounds really cool. I was a fan of Vincent Price when I was a kid, because he was so recognizable in appearance and voice.

@bradenslen I never saw the original series until recently. I enjoyed the Kilmer/Shue movie when it came out, but it hasn't aged terribly well. When I watched the first few episodes of the series, I was really surprised how little it had in common with the movie.

@cliffordbeshers I kind of like every incarnation of The Saint that I've seen. The late 1930's early '40's B-movies (starring George Saunders) are worth watching. Saunders is a bit more serious than either Vincent Price (old time radio) or Moore. I recommend all 3. :-)
