@canion That's interesting! I really enjoyed it. It was definitely a shorter movie than I expected, but I felt there was some depth in some unexpected places like Cleveland, the messmate. It was definitely a tense movie. // cc: @pratik

@canion @sarcassem It was alright. Nothing too memorable. I agree about the character development apart from Elizabeth Shue delivering shoes. Yes, Cleveland provided that human tragedy aspect but I suppose they didn't want to dramatize the crossing more than what really happened.

@pratik @canion I do wonder how much of a part COVID played in this. Remember this is when Tom Hanks and his wife caught it and were quarantined in Australia. I know he wrote the screenplay. I just wonder how much had to be edited because maybe they couldn’t finish everything?

@sarcassem @canion I doubt that. Usually shooting wraps up a full year before the post production begins. Since the pandemic started only in Feb (seems like eons ago), I doubt they had anything left to shoot.
