@manton What's the best way to thread your posts on Micro.blog? Not like Twitter? Or should I not be threading them but instead making a longer post?

@pratik longer is good.

@JohnPhilpin That's my first thought too but I'm afraid people don't click thru to read the full thing if I exceed 280 chars

@pratik I like longer posts with a title. There's not really the concept of threading like there is on Twitter, although you can still reply to your own post and remove or change the @-mention part. (But the follow-up replies won't show up on your own blog.)

@vasta Thanks. Good to know. I’ll definitely go that route next time.

@manton Got it. I knew that we have to think different :) Or rather go back to the old ways of blogging.

@pratik that was what was on my mind when I asked @manton and @danielpunkass in the slack channel if there was any chance that IF the excerpt field in mars edit was used whether THAT could appear with the link - to provide context and a reason to click through … sadly no plans

@pratik Long posts with title is better. I won’t necessarily read a long series of posts but if I see a post title I’ll add it to my Instapaper to be able to read when I have more time

@EddieHinkle Thanks. I’ll keep that in mind when writing.
