@JohnPhilpin Good to know, thanks!
@jack I feel so much better about myself … thankyou
@hjertnes poor Wordle … it’s free, ignores everyone … what did it do to upset you?
@JohnPhilpin it's annoying to see all the posts
@JohnPhilpin @jack @pratik Numbers doesn’t get nearly the credit it deserves, highly underrated app.
@pimoore concur - add in the sharing - with anyone - you wonder why anyone would bother with Google Docs.
Same for Keynote and Pages.
@hjertnes well that’s not Wordle’s fault 🤪
@pimoore Numbers is overkill, no? I mean, it's an Excel equivalent (not quite but still). Otherwise even Notes.app will do 🙃 @jack @JohnPhilpin
@JohnPhilpin numbers, keynote, and pages aren't cross platform natively and their web versions aren't the best.
Google Docs is pretty good and you can run an organization through it.
And none of them can hang with MS Office for features or function.
But if your just doing simple spreadsheets and some basic documents 🍎 products work.
@jack some one posted on Twitter how to mute the green squares on Twitter. My life improved immediately.
@pratik numbers so you can do things like categories - monthly versus annual etc etc - but yes - notes as a list is fine
@timapple we’ll agree to disagree on google sheets/docs etc … understand cross platform world.
@lukemperez Told my husband to do this the other day and he is much happier with his feed now.
@JohnPhilpin Bobby does that too. Plus you can look up splits by categories (streaming, writing, etc.) I mean, any spreadsheet app or notes app with BoE calculation will work.
@pratik but it’s all one at a time - import and export of data would help - it all seemed to me to sit slowly putting stuff in and not getting anything out - there is an AI soln in the Us tgat scans your bank statement and highlights a summary in one go - much more useful - but not tried it - seems to me that I already have all the data I just need a layer to explain it
@kimberlyhirsh it’s the little things.
@JohnPhilpin sounds like a plan, my opinion may change if I ever get a mac someday.
