We saw it in 3D and enjoyed it. I went in expecting a lot of pretty graphics and some good fight scenes and that's what I got, so I'm satisfied.
I will say that by far my favorite thing about the first Avatar movie is the Flight of Passage ride at Disney World.

If you sell a paperback, Amazon will often cut the price without asking you. This is a *good thing*. Sales hopefully go up, but it doesn't affect your royalties - the discount comes out of Amazon's cut!
When there's a big discount, I tell people about it!

Reviews are important for credibility, but I don't ask friends or family for reviews. I don't want to give Amazon any reason to think I might be breaking their ToS.

Same for video games. Some I'll keep going until I get to the end, some I'll play a little bit and decide I've had enough, some won't grab me at all. It's all good - too many good options available to spend time on something you're not enjoying.
