If that’s true, $12/yr is a steal and I wonder if that’s a sustainable price since images are still allowed.
\nFor me, not to come off harsh, I could not care less about social features. And at $12 a year I can live with shortcomings of the UX. Even can live with the email sign in , although I hate it.
\nSomeone else hosts the site, takes on responsibility to secure it, and on top of it all hosts my images.
So what I’m leading up to voice is a concern that 6 months from now there can be a price increase and that will leave a bad taste.
\nAny thoughts on allowing to prepay for years in advance?

Payment processors are way more influential than Apple is when it comes to payments. Goldman is losing their shirt on the deal with Apple and other banks are laughing at them, so nobody will line up to take over Apple Card unless Apple becomes a bank or gives concessions.
\nAnd in order for them to become a bank they will either have to build out their own interchange (very difficult and expensive) or play ball with Visas of the payments world.
@manton can’t wait for the passkey sign up. Main concern is security where using SMS sign in is definitely not preferred.

\nEvery brand has a bike that offers these 3 features that to me make it the best family bike. So I’d suggest focusing on those features and good components (Schimano) and seeing what you can find used. Bikes lose a ton of value vs new, so easy to find a deal in your $500 budget.
