@Mtt Just saw the notification for update to 29. I had reset my desktop which got synced to my mobile. When I looked in the data management, there were my slips :) I restored them, and a minute or so later, they popped up on my desktop, all in the correct order :D Just tested a few iterations of clicking the menubar icon and switching slips and everything now stays in place! Fantastic :D

@Mtt Just updated to 25. Same issue. Checked on iOS and it’s still showing the correct slip content. Now, however, TF seems to be getting hammered as, at times, it says the app is no longer available or takes at least a minute to update. iOS is on 24, btw.

@Mtt It did update to B16, but when I used the Settings keyboard shortcut, I got the iOS options panel, so it’s still the iOS build. I do see the sidebar and share button, though. More to come…

@Mtt All that sounds good :) Slips doesn’t show up on the macOS version of Shortcuts. That makes sense if you didn’t enable it for macOS yet. I tested the Open Slip task on my iPhone. It works as a button. I turned on Siri integration and it didn’t recognize that I was asking for a named slip. I’m not super familiar with all that scripting stuff, so I could be using it wrong.

I checked in TestFlight and it appears to be treating it as a native macOS app. There is no platform selector. I think this might mean it’s a universal app? Not sure.

I’ve added widgets on iOS and macOS and they work essentially the same. Clean. Simple. No bugs of any kind that I can detect. On the desktop, clicking different slips icons smoothly switches in the app window. On iOS (and I wish there was a half height widget form but Apple loves wasting space on the iPhone) the slips slide in and out very cleanly, as expected.

@Mtt Interesting little app. Unlock in Settings crashes it, but Subscribe to edit worked. Colors in Dark Mode could be more vibrant, but it looks good. Editing is simple and fast. I’d like to have the Share function on the note and not in the menu. I’d also like to see a menubar icon, an option to remove the icon from the Dock whilst running, and maybe even an icon-based quick picker to fly the selected not from the menubar to fast access. And a range of keyboard shortcuts to facilitate these functions would make it super easy to use. I could easily see using this. Nice work :) Thanks!

@nsmug All while crapitalism has been actively forging an environment where people are valued increasingly less, prices are rising, homes are unattainable or unsustainable for most, jobs are scarce, education is both more expensive and less valuable, people are being retrained by a hostile, predatory corporate internet, our political environment is steadily ramping up the fascism, and so, so much more. Society has been fattened up for the kill and while some of us protest these crimes, it isn’t in large enough sustained numbers and the 1% simply doesn’t care any more. The veneer has almost come completely unglued. Occupy Wallstreet needs to be revived in numbers far outstripping the movement from the 2000’s.
