@writingslowly Well, there are the Famous 3 gardens on the tourist roster, which you will already know about, one of which, at least, you can probably visit, depending on where youā€™re based. Shrine and temple gardens off the beaten path can be great ā€¦ their discoveries are best made serendipitously, wandering. Traditional crafts run a gamut! You may like to narrow your focus a bit and then find where that particular art/craft is strong? For example, there are certain places where different kinds of pottery have their roots. Or depending on where youā€™re staying, find notable crafts or craftspeople in the area?
