When I first started reading it I thought of those remarkable, nearly unrecognizable post-op patients who really did have a “mechanism” to address and go from dying to full color overnight. Jumping on the AI comparison, many seem to treat AI that way, as just needing the right treatment, or moment, or development, not realizing the entire category error of it all. Shrug and move on seems like the best approach.

@JohnBrady Nice! The only reason I didn’t preorder the Light flip phone was because I already think the Light III is too thick, and the flip is thicker still. But dang it I want those pushy buttons. I will say, in defense of the III, that I’m pretty sold on their setup. Just enough function, I think, but done in a way that makes it less a simplified smart phone than a dumb phone married to an old iPod. I haven’t used it for music at all, but their setup for podcasts is perfect. More like my old garmin watch than a smart phone app.
