What I’ve learned from jj by Nathan Witmer captures my experience as well. I create much better change history and don’t need to deal with git worktree when I work on multiple branches :).

I agree, I’m trying to figure out what works for me, but what would be great would be to create something that works with org-export so that UI could be used properly.

My hacky solution makes some thing of the things you mention possible: categories and syndication targets since they are available through the Micropub API.

There’s much more needed for a smooth workflow, currently I grab properties from the org file (that starts with MP-) and add them to the http request payload..

Making separate calls to the media endpoint to do uploads and get back the URLs is possible, but getting the AI descriptions is not possible at them moment (I think). I would also like to be able to set the alt text when I do an upload since it’s stored on MBs servers.

@tetov The issue author asked me to create my own repo so I dug out my old Bitbucket account from that one project a long time ago. I quickly found that there was no way to get git to create a tag, branch or even note with a space in it. Same went for the REST api on Bitbucket.
