I wish the US would implement the same for rural areas. Better wireless coverage is essential. I live in a rural area and cannot use my phone between towns. 🙄

I have a Samsung M8 32-inch monitor with a built-in camera, but it’s not convenient to position the camera where I want it because it doesn’t move freely or rotate 360 degrees. Unfortunately, I hardly use it. Lesson learned.

I had a Pixelbook years ago and was excited — until I wasn’t. ChromeOS already baked in Android apps and it wasn’t that great. So will a full Android-based OS actually change things, or just move the problem around?

I want a full desktop experience. Android can’t match iPadOS in app quality and desktop experience, despite Android’s AI edge. I just bought a MacBook Air. If Googlebook matures into a true desktop experience, it could make my next laptop shortlist. Give it a couple of years.

I just remembered watching this cartoon episode as a kid. Hard to believe it’s almost 90 years old — and the tortoise shares my name. It was fun watching it.

In the 1936 Disney Silly Symphony short Toby Tortoise Returns, released August 22, 1936, Max Hare and Toby Tortoise face off in a boxing ring. Max is faster, but Toby pulls off the win after Max accidentally stuffs him with fireworks. It’s about 7 minutes long and absolutely worth a watch.

@manton Ahh, I found it under Blog Settings, then a three-dot menu next to my blog name, which listed all platforms to import posts from. I don’t want that. I thought we could import a single blog post from other platforms to post on micro.blog.
