I’m at Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast this week, here for Australia’s first ever live Eurovision TV National Final to choose our song. It’ll be broadcast live online on Saturday night via SBS On Demand. My Eurovision fan friends aren’t arriving for a couple more days though.

Good news: I got my Mac laptop back after another week in repair. Bad news: this is the condition it came back in from the Apple Store. I ended up repairing it myself rather than take it back yet again. It’s been a frustrating experience and lots of downtime.

sigh If anyone wonders why I gave up on Apple, this is why. Sixth time this Mac has failed. Apple won’t replace it (there’s no MBP2012s left anyway), they just say to bring it in every 2 months, leave it with them a week, and they replace the data cable. I can’t work like this.
