A song you didn't realize was a cover? The Pet Shop Boys were a formative band of my youth. In an era of Stock, Aitken, and Waterman cookie-cutter pop, they stood out both with their sound, and their art house stylings. One of the few bands of that time that I still follow, I had most of their albums and was lucky enough to, finally, see them live a few years ago.

EVERY time I wanna do something I get the urge to chuck it away and start somewhere else. That's not a good look for a CMS (they need a 'lite' version I think).

We think Jack may have fractured his elbow. Only one parent allowed in with him.
It’s been almost 4 hrs.
I love the NHS, I will fight for it always. This hospital is where Jack was born and the staff were superb from start to finish.
But 4 hrs for a kids A&E, and it’ll be at least another hour or so at best.
It’s just wrong.

I've been away so missed this until today. I've read a few posts from this blog in the past few months. Originally I thought they were just being written to deliberately provoke. A low level trolling kinda thing. The consistency of it all has me thinking though, and I think their kind of constant criticism is less interesting than the writer seems to believe it is.

I left the house at 13:30. Train to Edinburgh, tram to airport, flight to Madrid, metro to city centre hotel. Arrived at my hotel room at 00:43. My plans are to breakfast early and wander around for the next four mornings. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons/evenings are taken up with watching fast cars go fast, with beers and food in the mix too.
