\nApart from the result itself, my biggest takeaway from this US election was the pleasant surprise that the polling itself seemed largely uneventful, and candidates didn’t dispute or fight the results in any big, systematic ways.

\nSurprising but true: in 2025, all net new electricity generation added worldwide was clean, ie non greenhouse gas emitting. 99% was renewable! 75% solar, 24% wind.
