\nSurprising but true: in 2025, all net new electricity generation added worldwide was clean, ie non greenhouse gas emitting. 99% was renewable! 75% solar, 24% wind.
\nIt was actually over 100% total. We added 849 TWh of generation overall in 2025, an increase of 4.5%, but GHG emitting (ie fossil fuel)...
\nMuch of my career boils down to:
\nAll code is liability. Minimize it.
\nFeedback loops are everywhere. Speed them up; do them more.
\nWe’re bad at predicting the future. Avoid it.
\nMore tests.
\nHire smart, motivated people, then get out of their way.
