But, now they have a big coop in a large garden area with access to a small pond etc. We’re sure to put them up each night. Plus our two Great Pyrenees who look out for everybody. They chased off a coyote just yesterday. They also get lots of BSF (black soldier fly larvae) that we produce from garden and kitchen scrap which I think helps with the laying.

Started with 12 ducks and lost a few over the years. Including recently the drake which was sad.
\nA few of them are blind or partially blind now. But we still get about an egg a day in total out of them. I find it amazing that they still lay at all.

@smokey This tree is about 5 years old. This is the first really good crop that we've gotten off of it. We had a wet and cold winter which I think helped.
