Are there any file managers that don’t freeze the GUI while copying over NFS? Has no one at Gnome/KDE heard of multi threading?

I like that it can edit PDF and run in the browser. However: online collab doesn’t always work, PDF content is not always viewable, certain fonts cause crashes and the UI is ‘the ribbon’. May not be Brave’s fault entirely - Safari leaks too, and I think they are forced to use Apple’s engine on iOS. But the out of memory crashes and loss of tabs have forced me back to Firefox.
