The thing I find weird about the politics-in-tech stuff is the total lack of self-reflection. No one seems to think “Oh, other people don’t like that? I wonder why?”

It’s all “Ignore the haters and move on”.

The incuriosity itself seems very anti-engineering.

That itself is a red flag in tech.

Nicer things: we obeyed the instruction to not feed birds over the hot summer to prevent spread of disease.
