@ChrisJWilson My first “desktop” computer was a Timex Sinclair 1000 (probably just Sinclair in the UK). Ran on a Z80 chip and I learned machine language on that sucker. Stored stuff on cassette tape and used a tiny black and white TV for a monitor. Had the 16K memory upgrade too.
