@urlyman Back in 1983 I went with friends to a Peter Gabriel gig at Crystal Palace football stadium. We missed the last bus/train into central London and ended up walking from stadium to St Pancras station, with only a general sense of the direction to head in. Took hours.

Got to station and 1st train of the morning was already there but not due to leave for hours. Member of staff opened it up to let us sleep on it!
