Itā€™s rare that I find something strikes home so early in the day; this did. Much of my job as a designer is spent defending users, a battle of taste over numbers in a dashboard, but this might be how I start framing some of my arguments going forward. @manton I agree Aeon is a good name, but I wish they would fix the UI of the main app. The new interface tat arrived when I updated my app yesterday is horrible and feels further from being a Mac app than the previous one.

@ChrisJWilson Interesting, I hadnā€™t spotted it the other way. There are definitely some pronunciations which really grate. I do confess to sometimes typing center but I blame CSS for that.

To my surprise I really enjoyed it. It turned out that writing and learning are a lot of fun, and I was constantly looking for ways to practice my new found writing skills. I think that's part of why I still love typing - I just find creating words on a screen a lot of fun.\n

I have a problem, that some might call a block. Simply put, I want to blog but donā€™t know what to write. Every time I sit down I am left with a blank brain, every time I think I should post about that nothing comes out. A blockage that wonā€™t budge that results in nothing being written.

I like the look of Lettera a new markdown writer app thingy from the folks behind Bear. I joined the beta and so far it seems very polished and working well. Some features are on the way but the skeleton is there. I opened my Obsidian vault and it seems to be working fine.

A fantastic look at the design of Japen Rail. The Japanese rail system fascinates me, it is what railways should be. Sadly, and to my dismay, the British railways are horrendous and terribly run. It is always cheaper to drive than it is to go by train which is immensely frustrating.
