@badmachinery.com It’s either that or make it up as I go along with no plan (or as I prefer to say, iterate based on trial and error). An actual plan tends to paralyse me, so if I want to actually achieve a specific thing I need to ‘see’ the whole thing and then fill it out.

@badmachinery.com Obviously I’m not doing what you do, but I do find I tend to mentally draw a big circle around whatever it is I’m trying to do, figuring out the edges and rules of what it is/isn’t, before stumbling around within that seeing what takes shape. Possibly analogous?
