Feeling very lucky after a breakthrough with the Castro 3 streaming code on Friday. I estimate that it saved weeks of development time and hundreds lines of particularly bug-prone low level code.

I’m excited about how Castro 3 coming together. We’ve checked off some long-requested features, made major performance improvements (the player controls respond instantly now) and are switching to a business model that’s actually sustainable.

Every Wednesday I stay home and take care of Ida (who turned 3 recently). It breaks up the work week kind of weirdly but it means I make sure to get something done by the end of Tuesday.

@hjertnes I know most of those numbers, but not if our current set up is at 10% or 70% utilization right now. My current idea is to measure that stuff for a few days, then drop to 1 of our 3 web servers and see how response times and CPU load change.
