Like people didn’t get automatically converted during the Middle Ages, but more or less silently accepted the force of the church, they won’t now. Conversion by cattle prod isn’t a lasting conversion, and in the long run it only harms the church. I have no faith in the motives being godly at all. This is only «get in line, we’re going to make you bleed money».

For some reason, I feel like sales are always overcharging, yet, to have a thriving business, that’s how you get there. A very good salesperson, (and co-boss at my company years ago), said something that something enlightening about this to me once:

@SimonWoods @jsonbecker If we are talking about how Apple warns of suspicious URL’s opened from emails, I’ll have to agree with Jason on this. It has been a lifesaver with my older relatives too. Could it be better? I’m sure it could, but for now, I’m not having any problems with it. It has to be said that I’m the most advanced user in the world though.

@WiredDifferently I’ve done that with all of the national credit information services. I wish there was a way to do it once, in one place though. Would probably need some regulation for that to happen. A credit information company, that I worked for 30 years ago, eventually got bought by Experian.

@fahrni I’ve had similar thoughts in Christmases / New Year’s past. 🎄(Probably the time of year where I am closest to my self.) And, apart from the having a family bit, which makes a lot of difference, I’ve had mostly the same thoughts.

I’ve punished myself with snacks and other bad stuff since I started to make money of my own. I used to jog. Only a furious lion could make me move faster than walking speed now. Earlier this year, I set up a long goal: Break my 1990 PR of 15:30 on 3000m by the time I’m 60. That’s four years and a couple of months left for me to accomplish this, and right now I don’t know if I can do it, but I’m going to try. 😮‍💨

I wish Apple would provide lyrics for albums bought in iTunes. Also, the artwork should show the back, and centrefold for double albums. And why not make use of the screen size that we have to show the cover art in playlist mode also?
