Can anyone explain why babies only get off schedule when you have plans? I was supposed to be at my grandma’s house (45 min away) about 10 min ago based on typical nap schedule. Instead he’s still sleeping so we haven’t left (he also needs to eat and have a diaper change first).

I guess the interest in solids was part of a growth spurt. I’m trying to nurse and he’s just so mad. Dude, I can’t make the milk come faster. You gave me 45 min to replenish from a 15 min feed. I’m chugging water and mad snacking. This is all I got.

@hollyhoneychurch I worked at Wilton before my son was born, and the cake decorators there who made all the treats for packaging artwork and marketing materials… wow! And once they were photographed, they’d put out the creations for us to eat!!! 😋
