This may be initial, the novelist that sits before a blank page, or post-inspiration, the artist that sees a pattern in a pile of trash and then works intntionally to bring that out. Jackson Pollock set out to do what he did, wherever his original vision may have come from. So there are skills (teachable) and vision (which can be developed). What is miussing form the equation is attitude. The creative, artist, engineer or administrator is fundamentally non-conformist, seeks to improve the \"rules\", adjust them, or discard them.
