I use this trick when flying to have my iPad at the perfect viewing height. The best seats for this to work are on Delta but it works with other airlines as well.

@pauls yes, me too. I think @caseyliss is using the SwftUI API. I think others are working around it with UIKit. I just ran into this issue this week so I’m still investigating. I’m creating a small sample app to get feedback.

@caseyliss I also have seen this affecting my Mac Mini and MacBook Pro recently. I think it is because I have wifi and sometimes Ethernet connected. But it started in the last couple months.

@gruber I’m surprised no one has suggested www.nytimes.com/crossword… The NY Times games PWA are great since the native app simply wraps web views anyway. I find it interesting that even with the PWA installed they push you to install the native app.

@jamesdempsey I struggled earlier this year with my workouts when all the gyms closed down. My daily workout m used to be lap swimming but that is now impossible.

But my wife and I started going on morning walks after getting the kids off to school. I don’t like running so a brisk walk is a good compromise. And it has been good for our marriage. We spend at least 45 minutes (~3 miles) each day talking and walking.

It takes planning to make time for it in a busy morning of work meetings but it is worth it.
