There are few television series I return to more than once, but Kelly and I always seem to enjoy Endeavour, the prequel series to Inspector Morse, with Shaun Evans and Roger Allam. Is it just the Oxford charm? I don’t know…but possibly.

@drwalt I remember that scene. Almost shocking. In my opinion, Philip Glass’ score really makes the film. There were moments where I muted the audio just to see what the experience was like. There are still very powerful visuals, but the music is a vital member of the “acting ensemble” of this film.

@KyleEssary He made a few updates to this edition, plus adding a very helpful and informative preface to the 2nd edition and postscript to the entire book that responds to earlier criticisms. I found the postscript to be very helpful but it may not be worth the cost of a new purchase.
