@pimoore The fountain pen I am most disappointed with, however, is easy to determine: The Lamy 2000 … I love the nib. However, the little clips that lock the cap make it impossible for me to write for longer. I have no idea how others hold the pen. For me, the clips dig very uncomfortably into the fingertip. @pimoore A difficult question 😄 I love the Pilot Custom 74 a lot, even more when loaded with a shading ink. Though the nix is F it still gives life to the writing. The Lamy Safari is fit for everything. The TWSBI Eco is well beloved for it’s ability to deal with waterproof inks and it ‘s forgiving nib - I use it only for sketching and I like both the resistance of the nib and its flexibility (for a steel nib). Sometime I pull it out a bit and this gives really expressive lines. I bought the Kaweco just for its nostalgic eighties shimmer. 🥰 But it’s nice to carry around and a smooth writer. The smoothest of all? Is the preppy! I converted it to an eye dropper. And screwed it to hard. So it broke. But the nib is soooo smooth. Silly. Im thinking of trying a Prefounte or Plaisir … I heard they use the same nib? 🖋

@jsonbecker I like LibraryThing a lot. It’s free, has an app to add books by scanning the barcode and creates your own online catalogue (if you want it). And it’s not a Big Corp.
