I love the idea of the Commodore Callback 8020 phone, but I don’t think it’s the right call for me. I’m afraid I’d simply end up with an extra device to carry around, instead of fully offloading from a smartphone.

@manton I’m having sustained issues with the updated app. The top menu bar is particularly rough. It is hit and miss whether it is responsive when I navigate, currently it’s impacting my ability to create new posts. I have a workaround to get to the new post screen, but once I’m there the post button does not work nor does the back button. I’m forced to close the app to get back to the feed.

@mroutley for what it’s worth, a few months ago I moved away from DayOne to Obsidian. I created a workflow that automatically grabs date, time, and location as front matter for my entries when I save it. It’s been great. I also backup Strava to Obsidian. I plan to blog on this soon.
