@manton so true! At one point I had even turned off notifications for text messages and only have notifications on for phone calls. It was very nice but I missed enough texts that were time sensitive that I re-enabled them.

@danielpunkass I also think we shouldn’t put any additional tax burden on people. If you add up all the income taxes, sales tax, meal tax, it’s already quite high. The amount I pay in taxes already seems exuberant and I’m in a low tax bracket.

@lmika I agree. I have Codex and the Claude app installed on my Mac but I end up just using Claude Code from the terminal. It just feels right for some reason.

@krra I was helping out an experienced forester who likes to not mow part of his yard and let it grow up and then burn it down each year. He said it is very good for the ecology which he went on to explained but I didn’t fully understand it. It has something to do with giving small rodents a place to hide among the tall grass.

The tree was totally fine. It’s hard to burn only the grass while avoiding the trees. That’s why he need some extra help.

I went on a OneWheel ride with my brother tonight before Bible study. The weather was nice and we got 13mi in before we ran out of time. I think we got back to our car with him having about 20% battery left on his XR Classic.
