@stroughtonsmith Have you tried to calculate the actual price of the used tokens based on the current API tariff (ccusage, for example)? I did after I finished my latest pet project. The numbers were actually quite shocking: about $80 _daily_. This was on the same $20 Codex subscription. I was frequently hitting 5h usage limits, so I didn’t even work all day. No way I’d use coding agents for anything personal if they were so costly.

One thing I noticed that might be the reason - both users who sent me these reports had multi-monitor setting enabled (different pictures on each monitor). I you have this too, try to switch to the default “same picture” option.

@tuomas_h @dnwrld @stroughtonsmith I had the same experience. Apple’s system RAW engine applies too much sharpening and it seems developers have no control over it. That’s why I couldn’t use Photomator for editing RAWs from my camera despite how much I liked the app in general over Lightroom. It uses system libraries and has the same flaws as the default Photos app.

@a_grebenyuk I guess the price is still an important factor. The cheapest Mac Mini with M4 Pro in the UK costs just £1399. Meanwhile MacBook Pro 14' with M3 Pro is £2099 (I assume the price is not going to change tomorrow). Personally, I'd be pay these £700 for the flexibility, but I can also imagine someone choosing not to. Besides, this money could be invested into performance. For £1999 you'll have 48gb RAM and 1tb SSD with Mac Mini.

I expect this headset to have the same destiny as Apple Watch. Great hardware, potentially revitalising the whole marked of wearable devices. But, on the other side, built-in apps and features will dominate over any third-party apps due to various limitations in the SDK.
Though, I'd be happy to be proven wrong. It's just my gut feeling tells me that Apple is gonna be Apple.

My main struggle with gaming nowadays is that I do it so rarely that I have to go through a prolog every time I return to the game. Otherwise I simply don’t remember what’s all about, what are the controls and the story.
