Widgets for Obsidian puts a widget on my screen ( iOS and iPadOS) and I can set it up so that it will append to today’s daily note or create a new note in #Obsidian. It also has a quick action feature, which can do a lot more. It seems exactly what you’re looking for. I’ve only been using it for a day, but it seems pretty perfect for my use. The macOS version is a little buggy, however.
