I love programming but when it's a mean to an end with a deadline, I spend my energy on higher-level tasks (project management, business logic, etc.) and LLMs, much like a framework, help me abstract away what matters less to my goals.

I'll use a coding agent for a black-box, well-tested module because I just want it to work so I can move on to what I care about.

@caseyliss I agree with you, my ideal experience is delivered through CarPlay. I don't own a car but I only rent cars with CarPlay and wouldn't buy one without it.

However, I can understand the perspective that *most* people only care about Spotify or the default music and podcast apps, Google Maps and taking calls in the car so that's what Rivian focuses on and are ok with losing the few customers who want, say, Overcast and Fantastical.

It's a strategic error but I understand it 😄
