Honestly weirdly I feel like I am a lot more at home here mainly because of all the people I still know and all the memories. My only complaint is the fact that Heathrow is not a quiet airport. The speaker won’t shut up.

Took a while but today was the first day of wearing a jumper. The temperature is going down slowly, but there is that general lift before it drops and stays low for the next 6 months.

Absolutely smashed. Yesterdays move was the absolute in brutality. Then today I had to finish off closing out the previous house. The cherry on top? Definitely the cold that Ryan has dragged into the house and gifted everyone in the family. Sooo annoying.

Trying nasal strips for the first time. I have a deviated septum and so breathing through my nose has always been a challenge. Went for simple strips and see if it’s worth getting these regularly into my nighttime rotation.

Less than a week to go before we move. Boxes are in the house now and we have done a lot of shedding (my favourite part of any move). Throughout the summer I have been reducing my alcohol intake considerably. After a year of trying strong beers, I’ve settled on some lighter beers that just land nicely. Looking forward I am hoping to keep to that level 2-3 beers a week tops.

@cabtastic I spent 5 years in that mode on my newsletter Stet, I quickly realised was that I was doing it wrong and never reached the audience that I thought the newsletter deserved. After reading The Art and Business of Online Writing, I realised the errors of my way. Go where the audience is and use their platform to build your own and then keep building from there. Otherwise, you might end up like me, 5 years with a set of articles and site I am incredibly proud of, but with no traction. I found so much more traction on LinkedIn for my stuff.
