@artkavanagh I feel you. These old tools have a certain very seductive allure, but there’s good reason the ballpoint was invented and became so popular (aside from the cost-saving of mass manufacturing mentioned in the article). They get the job done more simply and sometimes more effectively.
\nIt feels very similar to film vs. digital cameras. There’s a nostalgia surrounding film and arguably film photos look better, but there’s also a reason that the majority of working photographers (from what I’ve seen) still use digital for client work even if they work with film in their free time.

I find it helps to just do them all and get it done with and have a few days to recover and do other work.
\nI also keep video turned off. I find it helps. At least I appreciate being able to pace and change chairs or get up to grab something, etc without breaking the flow of the other person when they’re speaking.
