For me, keys/passwords have colour: blue for public, red for green. Giving a password feels like extending an arm into an alligator cage. A public key feels like extending a stick instead. I think it's got something to do with the size of the diff, but enormous diffs by traditional auto-generated tools are not uncommon either. </p><p>If you look at the code, it's a deliberately conservative rewrite. Virtually every type, function, branch, etc. is preserved. I'd argue that it's the sort of task the author would have solved faster and easier by just serializing the output of a Zig parser into Rust: it's not especially different to the sort of output c2rust produces, for example.</p><p>Put simply: it's not a shocking display of the efficacy of LLMs, it's actually quite a constrained and well-scoped task, repeated many times. 'Nuff said.</p><p>The Greens regularly take absurd and self-contradictory positions on really quite fundamental things (fuel subsidies) that implies they've not really done much thinking. Also, they seem to think you can solve the housing crisis without building houses. </p><p>The LibDems are... *fine*, but on a local level they tend toward ideological incoherence and village green conservatism. They've also got a weird aversion to taking ideological positions on things for fear of rocking too many boats. In power, they are no better than Labour.</p><p>I no longer live in Wales so Plaid Cymru are not an option, although they do appeal to me.
