Yesterday, I was able to give a full presentation straight from TheBrain’s new web client, Vulcan. It’s a fantastic rewrite of the web client, that comes very close to replicating the desktop client. Performance is a bit slow when navigating through a lot of thoughts, but I’m enjoying it immensely.

I’ve realized as time goes on I either don’t have the patience or mindset to follow a Tweet Story. Something about the breaking up of a 6 paragraphs into 10 or more tweets is too much hassle to try to follow. It should be a blog post, IMHO.

The Linux app dev was started in late 2020 (which began the Electron and Rust development). Then in May 2021 the Early Access Windows version was released. The macOS is the last version to get it, and I’m surprised there has been so much vitriol now, when the writing has been on the wall for well over 8 months.
\nMy opinion is that for Mac only users, yes this is definitely a regression, but for multi platform users, this is definitely a win.

He said this week he hopes to have a fix in place. I ended up using NotePad++ to combine all files, Mark lines starting with title: and nothing after it (regex), strip the marked lines out, then break the posts into separate files again. Although someone might have a better way of doing that, I recommend waiting for the title issue to be fixed.
@jack I’ve been thinking about this since @amit questioned what constitutes a micro post to me. I ended up importing all posts just to see what they look like, and right now I’m leaning towards posting only on Micro.blog for the same reason you just mentioned. I’m already here, so why not?
