On Dijkstra's algorithm: I've recently learned about d-ary heaps, which are a generalization of binary heaps, where nodes have d children instead of 2. Paraphrasing Wikipedia:

Decrease priority ops are more performant at the expense of slower delete min ops, leading to better running times for algorithms such as Dijkstra's algorithm in which decrease priority ops are more common than delete min ops.

@alcinnz I'm still using an HP notebook from 2013.

I had to replace the screen once (very proud that I did it myself), but other than that no problems at all.

It runs with a dual boot setup for Windows 10 and Linux Kubuntu with KDE.

Now that Windows 10 has reached EOL, I've completely switched to Linux and it feels so lightweight. ๐Ÿชถ
