Been tinkering with my Obsidian setup today. Testing to see if this actually posts where it’s supposed to. It should end up on Mastodon, via micro.blog, using the micro.publish plugin.

Today didn’t go quite as planned. But… I found a new idle game to play (Upload Labs), I signed up for an account on tilde.town, there was a new Ren drop, and The Skinner Brothers announced a festival date later this year.

@bloftin2 It’s frustrating isn’t it. I use Facebook every day for similar reasons but connected to music (I’m a moderator for a bands official FB group). Sadly most people are only interested in something if it’s “free”, and even then it can be a struggle. 😢

@bloftin2 Thank you, I appreciate the encouragement! That’s pretty much what I’ve been doing - setting a really small, achievable goal each day. Seems to have worked well with the first book I picked up, so hopefully that will continue!

@manton I agree, kill it with fire! The problem I have, is that I’m involved with several music fan groups across Facebook and Instagram. IG can be replaced fairly easily, but I’m not seeing a viable alternative for FB groups feature yet, and that will keep a lot of people using it.
