\nI’d like to see this for every new post, and it’s a bit tedious to have to switch it on for every post.

Now that you mention it, I see they’re behind the date links at account-tweets.micro.blog.

Each twitter.com/account/status/ID would have a corresponding account.micro.blog/tweets/#ID that you could cite and link to.
