I took the car for a service, and got a quote to spend more money than I anticipated.

After going through five Prime Ministers in eight years, one of my hopes from #KeirStarmer was that at least we might get some boring stability for five years.
Now not only has the Downing Street revolving door continued, but it seems likely that he’ll be replaced by someone who wasn’t an MP last week.
I hate it when people say the UK isn’t a serious country, but this does nothing to dispel that.

I ran #Barmouth 10k yesterday. It’s a nice race. It has definitely become more popular, because the 2027 race has only been on sale for a day or so, and it’s 75% sold out already!

I think one of the best things about being #Welsh is how much time it saves you being bothered about the #WorldCup.
I have friends who are staying up until the small hours to watch their teams play. No such worries for me!

When the UK #pension went up (in the last budget?) and the personal allowance didn’t, some people were very vocal about what a disgrace it is that pensioners have to pay #tax.
I think I have an idea of the answer, but can anyone tell me how much a pensioner would have to pay?
